this video called"on the run" is really good. featuring Carl Park, son of my moms best friend, Barbara Park. Carl has used both images from White Crystal Beach and Crystal Beach Manor to make you feel what it's like to be on the run. oddly enough, this part of Earleville has always attracted a certain criminal element who most likely identifies with the story that is told through this song. the video also follows the roads that pass by places our family lives, roads we have taken a million times.
yes, its a long and desolate road that leads to crystal beach, especially in the winter. and its a dead end road also. thats a country song in the making right there. and elaine, what about that scenic veiw of the bay? remember sitting there that one night and hearing the blood curdling screams of a man and his family being terrorized in their tent? and then the even more blood curdling screams of the tormentors being gutted with that mans fish knife? just another peaceful evening on the chesapeake bay.....
I like the video, love the scenery. In TN when we were children it was white lightening, moonshine or any kind of alcohol. I remember sitting on cases of beer or whiskey when I was a little kid, most of the cars were owned by whiskey runners or the revenue. "Revenuers
i remember when we were down there (in tennessee) when i was little, dad and some of the brothers told us kids to go play out behind georges shed while they talked. found out later they were in there sampling a little 'shine.
